George Reichard Homestead

The George Reichard House past Trinity Road..  It's on the George Reichard land..  This was in the Reichard Family for one hundred years. It was built in 1816.

My Great - Grandfather James I. Flinchbaugh and also my Great - Great - Grandfather Jacob D. Flinchbaugh would have been in this house at times.

George Reichard was his father - in - law.  Jacob was married to Agnes Ann (Nancy) Reichard

I had the oppurtunity to go into this beautiful stone house in July of 2006. Here are a few pictures. It's restored in the late 19th century style.

Here lies the gravestones of George Reichard and his second wife. The leaning stone is his one son William. The red building in the background was on the Reichard property at one time. It was then called the Reichard School. It's now a Ham Radio Club
